THE JOURNEY OF A LIFETIME
Walking the Bible Comes to PBS for Three Nights in January

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 29, 2005—The places and stories of the Bible are coming to television screens across America during the first three weeks of January. The PBS network will air the ground-breaking three-hour high-definition miniseries from TMC Entertainment, Walking the Bible, on January 4, 11 and 18. This nationally broadcast primetime project is adapted from Bruce Feiler’s New York Times best-selling book of the same title and will be hosted by the author.

The series, filmed in five countries—and four war zones—is part adventure story, part spiritual journey. Crafted from 200 hours of high-definition digital video footage, Walking the Bible takes viewers from the heights of Mt. Ararat, where Noah’s Ark was reported to have come to rest, to the depths of the Salt Sea, the lowest point on earth. Viewers will journey along with Feiler as he travels—by boat, jeep, camel and foot—the paths of Moses, Isaac, Jacob and the Israelites.
